I’m Tina.
Nice to meet you!

Experience matters.

My inspiration to pursue this work started with our two wonderful and very different kids.  But my degree in (and passion for) sociology is my foundation. I've observed peers with their families, conquered crisis caregiving for my beautiful parents, and headed the parents association of a large, diverse boarding school in Andover, MA; it's all informed my skill as a parent coach. Finally, my graduate certification from Parent Coaching Institute gave me the positive framework and proven methodology to be most effective.

Naturally curious, I possess the ability to ask the right questions from a place of compassion, not judgment. Small, targeted adjustments can make a world of difference in how you view relationships with family and with yourself, unlocking the confidence and connection you’ve been craving.

I love all families

While I have experience and enjoy working with families of all configurations and ages, some unique areas of expertise include:

Welcome

Transitional Phases

As kids enter new schools or the next phase of development, caregivers often continue parenting as usual. Sometimes this leads to less communication and more push-back. I love helping parents reframe these transitions as opportunities for deeper, closer connection through small, effective changes.

Long-Distance Parenting

It all starts with saying goodbye. Our children challenge themselves at boarding school, college, or living independently, but we still want to feel significant. How to do this? Awareness is key. I know; I've done it twice. Will you push yourself into their new lives, or will they invite you in? The choice is yours.

The Sandwich Generation

Being a reluctant expert in all things Alzheimer's, I have guided and educated many parents through the rocky waters of aging parent care. Learning how to be respectful while frustrated, setting new boundaries, practicing self-care, and embracing your changing relationship will ease the journey.
